How to send the Teacher Perceptions Survey

Pre-program teacher survey

Automatic send

LENA sends the pre-sequence survey email automatically to all teachers who are on the Room Profile before the baseline LENA Day. The email is sent on the morning after the baseline LENA Day devices are processed.  So the easiest way to send the survey is to be sure the Room Profile teacher section is complete before the baseline LENA Day.

Manual send for late entry, or re-send

If a teacher is added to the room after LENA Day 1 but before LENA Day 2, the coach must manually send the survey:

  1. Go to Session Prep.
  2. Click the Send button in the Teacher Perceptions Survey panel. The email is sent immediately. 

This is also a good way to re-send the survey if the teacher lost the email, or if the email was not received due to a typo in the address, etc...but remember: it's only available before the second LENA Day.

Teachers who do not complete the pre-program survey before LENA Day 2 will not be included in the survey data.

Post-program teacher survey

LENA sends the pre-sequence survey email automatically to any teacher who is on the room profile and completed the baseline survey. The email is sent on the morning after the 11th LENA Day is processed.

For rooms that do not complete a full sequence, LENA sends the survey to the teachers when the room is closed out.

There is no manual send option for post-sequence teacher surveys.
