The Active Children count is the number of children in the selected context who are currently enrolled and have completed at least one LENA Day of at least 2 hours duration within the last 30 days.

An Active Room is a classroom group with a LENA Day within the last 30 days.

The count includes all groups in the context organization and in any nested suborganizations/centers.

This measure shows the percent of active children in active rooms who were engaged in at least 15 turns per hour on average, on the 1-2 most recent LENA Days contributed within the last 30 days.

If a child has two LENA Days of more than 2 hours duration within the past 30 days, we take the average of both; otherwise, we take the average of the most recent one.

This measure shows the percent of active rooms whose most recent LENA Day earned an Interactive Day star.

If your user account can see only certain groups, then your dashboard will instead show the details for one of your groups. This is a common setting for the LENA Grow Coach role.

If you are managing multiple LENA programs that fall under an umbrella organization, your welcome dashboard will instead show participation numbers for each program type. You can:

• Put a Grow partner/site or a group in the context to see its welcome dashboard, or
• Click More Details or any medallion to see details for each program type.
